Mobilgear XMP 320
As some older wind turbines still in current use throughout Europe may have been filled originally using mineral type gear oil rather than one of the latest versions of PAO synthetic gear oils such as Mobilgear SHC XMP 320, Chemical Corporation (UK) Ltd offers Mobilgear XMP 320 as part of their service offer when
Mobilgear XMP 320 is classed as one of Mobil’s high performance mineral gear oils and is designed to provide optimum equipment protection and oil life even under extreme conditions. Mobilgear XMP 320 is formulated using high quality mineral base stocks and an advanced propriety additive system designed to provide excellent protection against conventional wear modes such as scuffing but also provides a high level of resistance against micropitting fatigue.
Mobilgear XMP 320 is recommended for enclosed industrial gear drives including steel-on-steel spur, helical, and bevel gears. It is especially recommended for applications that may be subject to micropitting, especially heavily loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened tooth metallurgies. It may also be used in gear applications where corrosion may be severe.
The Mobilgear XMP brand of gear lubricants is recognised and appreciated around the world for innovation and outstanding performance. A key factor in the development of Mobilgear XMP 320 is the close contacts between Mobil’s scientists and application specialists with key OEMs to ensure that the product will provide exceptional performance with the rapidly evolving industrial gear designs and operation.
